Just over 2 months post round 2

One thing I have noticed is that my posts are further between compared to that first year and it's probably because I am not sitting at home with nothing to do.. I am out there, working, seeing friends and being a mum! This past month has been reasonably good, other than the flu that my husband so generously brought home with him from a work trip, but considering he raised over $27,000 for MS I think he can be forgiven!

Yes, you read correctly, $27,000.00 this is on top of the $15,188.00 he raised a couple of months back with Ride Sunday. This time round it was with Bullrush Rally, a super car rally between Sydney and Brisbane over 5 nights. Along the way they have pit stops where they party, network and raise money for charity. This year it was for MS Research and I am so grateful! Because it could mean the difference when finding a cure for MS.

Looking back at where I was this time last year and today things are fairly similiar, I have my good days and days when I have to rest. I still get flares of my old symptoms (eye pain, blurriness, headaches, fatigue) but I'm finding that I don't have to bed rest, but take it easy and potter around for a day and then I'm back at it. Although in saying that I'm not 100%, as I said before I am fighting off the flu so I have a cough and sore throat that seems to be lingering but other than sounding like a transvestite first thing in the morning coughing like I suck back a pack a day, it's all good!

I always wanted to cure my MS by the time I turned 40... now I am turning 40 in 5 weeks and even though I haven't cured my MS, I think I've come pretty darn close by halting all progression!! I can't ask anymore than that, can I?
