Round 2

This time last week I was hooked up getting ready for the Lemtrada to flow, and now I sit here reflecting back on the last week.
My infusion days (3 days for round 2) were mostly as expected. I experienced headaches, chest tightness, dizziness, back pain, sweats and fatigue during those 3 days, these were all expected and easily managed. I slept through much of day 2 and 3 due to being so tired and dealing with a migraine. Over the course of the last 5 days I have been really tired, during the weekend, I slept about 15-17 hours a day, which to some sounds like heaven, except when I'd wake up (mostly hungry) I was still so tired and wanted to just lie back down again - which I did!

Today I am doing ok... I currently have heavy & stiff limbs, a headache that nurofen doesn't do much for and a achy body mostly, however, when reading back how I was this time last year, this has been an easy road... a really easy road comparatively. I just feel like I have a very nasty cold.
If it continues like this, I think the one thing I will need to remember to do is rest, because even though I might not be experiencing a whole host of side effects, it doesn't mean that I haven't put my body through the ringer and it needs time for rest & recovery.
All in all, I couldn't be happier... yes, I am eating enough to feed a small nation (I blame the steroids!), I'm tired and when I walk I need to keep a wall or chair to balance or else I might have a date with the floor, but I have finished round 2, so far relatively unscathed and my hope for the future is bright!
