Burn baby, burn

I wasn't aware I'd run a marathon yesterday? Or even did 100 leg presses! Perhaps I ran up a 1000 stairs and don't recall... because my legs are burning... my calfs in particular feel like they are on fire. My thighs hurt, bone deep pain, aching all the way up into my lower back. My joints are stiff and not in the "just roll them looser" kind of way!

I recall last year experiencing bone pain, but like child birth my brain had conveniently "forgotten" about it, and now I am lying in a maternity ward grabbing Nick by the neck and screaming "why? why? am I going through this again?? I HATE YOU" - LOL

The pain slowly crept up over the course of yesterday evening and by 3am I was well and truly in the throws of childbirth! After taking Lyrica, Endone and Nurofen Plus I was able to block out enough to get about 3 hours sleep. But now I am up and hurting.

This is the moment, where I ask myself, can I just deal with the pain or do I just put myself in a pain killer stupor and sleep the hours away until the pain passes? The uncertainty is, how long will it last for this time? Do I bite the bullet and suck it up?
