Yay! It's working

My first month bloods are in and they are showing that Lemtrada is doing it's job. My Lymphocyte count is 0.2, with the normal range being between 1 - 3 x10^9 - so for most people this would be quite alarming as it would signal something rather nasty is going on. For me, well it is awesome, because it means that the treatment is working and my immune system is close to being wiped out.

I do however need to repeat all my tests next week, as my urine analysis came up with something that needs double checking, but no one seems concerned as it's quite normal for women to have this... get my drift? Anyway... Thought I would share this with you all whilst I am enjoying a weekend away in Melbourne with my darling husband. I must admit, I was a little concerned jumping on an airplane... if I could have held my breath for the whole time, I would have.. especially with a little voice in the back of my head reminding me that there isn't a lot holding up my immune system at the moment.. but, hey, life is for living and I intend on enjoying myself!
Ciao from Melbs x
