Pain, pain go away...

So I am 2 weeks post treatment and the only thing that is lingering around is the pain.. specifically in my legs (and the occasional headache). Now, prior to Lemtrada I experienced only small amounts of pain that was tolerable, only experienced it at night and was managed quite well with Lyrica. This pain is different and I have 24/7 and Endone, Panadeine or Codeine only helps for a couple of hours and doesn't actually get rid of it, it just dulls it enough for me to not think about it. As a result, I'm sleeping in 2-3 hour blocks, which makes me emotional and just not myself.

I try to do stuff, like the other day I went to the shops with a friend to have a coffee and go to Medicare and to be honest I only walked short distances before stopping and resting, but as a result that night and the next day I was wrecked. So tired and pained. Pain that is bone deep.

I am reassured by other Lemmies, that are further into the process, that this is only short lived and give it a month or so and it will settle down. But with school holidays looming and kids being kids, I'm not sure how my nerves will cope, being sleep deprived and in pain. But I suppose, I will just suck it up and power on as I do. I remain optimistic that I will be return to my normal "pre-lem" state, but with all the cells that cause my MS eradicated from my immune system - that's what I hold on to.
