Day 1 Part 2

By 3pm I had finished my Lem infusion and then started 2hr of saline (which is their way of making sure you stay there for observations). By 5pm I had taken several trips to the bathroom as I had drunk 2 L of water and probably the same in IV solutions…

It is now 9pm, my head ache has eased (thank you Ibuprofen), my belly is full of a beautiful vegetable and pork stew made by my husband Nick... yes, I did say husband... we tied the knot yesterday in a surprise ceremony... it was a lovely day with beautiful symbolism as it was some of the worst weather Sydney has seen in 30 years. If we can weather this storm, we can weather anything that life throws at us!

So far the only other side effects are what feels like pins stabbing the top of my right foot. I will do my best to get some sleep tonight, if that is at all possible and I will fill you in again tomorrow.
